The new feature google has come out with is called google instant. It has faster results because it shows you suggestions before your done typing. The suggestions are shown in gray print next to what you're typing so you can stop typing as soon as you see what you want to search for. Before, you had to just hope you were typing the right search term, but now it shows you suggestions of what you may be searching for before your done. You could also turn off google instant if you didn't want the suggestions shown to you. Google instant will also not slow down your internet connection. That is what I've learned about google's new feature.

Like announcing nine new Search Options tools: past hour, specific date range, more shopping sites, fewer shopping sites, visited pages, not yet visited, books, blogs and news. These are going to all be so helpful to anyone that uses Google. These nine new search options show you the most resent news on Google. Google instant has also been added which shows results as you type. This makes it easier for users because you dont have to keep typing once what you are searching for shows up. Another shift is that seeing results as you type helps you formulate better search terms by providing instant feedback. This is what I have learned about Google.

As you type in the search engine box, Google will display the results. It "comes as close to reading the consumer's mind" Google said of the new change. It speeds up searching, and it makes it easier to find what you were looking for.

ReplyDeleteSearching the internet, I found many various articles about the recent updates to Google. The one main change that was made to Google last Monday is called Google Instant. This new feature pulls up results as you are typing, to make your search faster and more convenient. Going along with this update is predictions. Predictions from Google let you stop typing and press enter when you see what you were looking for with your search. Google instant has drawn many new followers with this amazing feature. Before Instant came out, there was still more than 2 million searches per day. So, that shows that with instant, there will be many more too come. I think that Google made a very smart move with this new feature, and it will get them a long ways in the internet search business.

ReplyDeleteRecently, Google has had some changes. Google this week was to make it easier to find stock information. By doing this it's easier by searching for diffrent websites. Google says "we want the most comprehensive index of the web, we explore ways to crawl the web deeper, faster, and better from increasing our index size or indexing speed to crawling webforms to discovering links like javascript." They instantly want to help people out and solve their problems faster. They help things like that by improving their UI to help you formulate queries more quickly; it returns the results in milliseconds. They know it'll make google better for the future.
On google I have learned that it is one of the most used search engine, and the fastest too. They have changed their logo so that when you are searching for something there are tabs on the side to make what you are exactly looking for easier and more efficient.
ReplyDeleteWhen you use favorites on your own computer at your house you could not go on to either your schools computer or another computer and not access your favorites from another computer. But, with Delicious you can save a bookmark under your account and sign on to a totally different computer and access it from there.
Google is making a program in which people can access almost any book from their computer. Google has made something called google instant where results come up befoere you are done typing. It also gets results faster than before.

A new change to Google is Google Instant. Its a new feature where it pulls up the pages as you type. With every new letter is a new page full of possible links to websites you might need. Google instant is easy and fast. You no longer need to use the search bar.

ReplyDeleteGoogle has made an uprade call instant which means the rsults come up before you are done typing and that can help you get to where you need to go much faster rather than surching for it :)There were over 2 million people before instant and i think theres going to be even more with instant. :)Google is also the fastest of search engines. Which has made google better for the future :)
There have recently been changes to google. Like the new "Paid Links", where for some certain links, you have to pay money to see the sites. It is supposed to be better on the accuracy of the information. There is also a new change, where you can read the info in the websites in a different laguage, so incase theres a forigen person, they could read in their language. Plus there is now Google Instant, where the pages pop up as you type them. and finally, you can look at a companies stocks easier.
ReplyDeleteand Delicious is a social bookmarking website, where you can save your favorite websites into a little folder. Once there, you can just click on the link, and it will direct you to your website, and you just go on with whatever you were gonna do there.
