As a citizen of the United States, I enjoy my right to free speech, religion, and the freedom from search and seizure. If our country did not have a Constitution, it would be chaos. We would not have some of the freedoms that we have today. The overall purpose of the constitution is to keep the United States in order and to keep everything civilized. The constitution was signed on September 17th, 1787 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was signed by the delegates of the United States. This included Alexander Hamilton, Benjamin Franklin, James Madison, and George Washington. The original constitution is currently on display in the National Archives Building in our capital, Washington D.C.
ReplyDeleteSome of the rights we have by the US Constitution are freedom of speech; so we can say what ever we want, right of the press; so the writers can write about anything they chose as long as it isn't a lie, and the right to bear arms; so our parents can keep guns in the house. With out the Constitution maybe we would have one person in charge, like the king before we broke free. The purpose if the Constitution is to ensure our rights as indivuals. Its ment to make sure we are all in charge of our country, but still guided. It was signed in 1787 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by the delegates to the Constitutional Convention. ReplyDeleteThe rights that I enjoy from the U.S. constitution is the bare of arms rule. I like the rule because it protects you and gives you a right to fire at will. Also, you have the right to hunt wildlife with a firearm, and to be safe, keep firearms in your house.

The rights that I enjoy of the U.S. constitution are freedom of speech. I enjoy this rule because it gives me the right to say almost anything that I want. Our country would be nothing like it is today we would have a lot more robberies, we would not have as good as schools as we do now. The overall purpose of the constitution is to keep our country as it is today if it was without a constitution we would have a lot more problems than we already do. One of the rights i enjoy having because of the constitution is freedom. I enjoy being able to say, do, and wear what I want without people telling me i can't. I enjoy being able to choose the job i want, and the schools i want to attend. With out the constitution, the country would be fully controlled. We would have no say over what we were allowed to wear, or what religion we wanted to be. Our lifestyles would be controlled by someone else. ReplyDeleteWithout the constitution, the country would just be a huge war zone, with no goverment establish justice to those who commit crimes.

ReplyDeleteI personaly like the freedom of speech rule in the constitution the best. Having the freedom to speak and say what you want makes me happy. Without this rule i dont think it would make many people happy because they wouldnt be able to speak what they are feeling. ReplyDeleteThe right that I enjoy as a result of the US constitution is Freedom. Not all countries in the world have freedom like we do. Some countries don’t let people do what they want to do, or else they could be killed. They have to follow other peoples reign and rules on what to do every single day, where to send their kids to school, when to pray, what to eat, and a lot more. In America, thanks to the constitution, we don’t have that and we could do everything freely without being seriously injured, evicted from our houses, secretly moving away from your house over to a different country without those rules, or even dying because of not doing what other people want when they want it. Yes we have rules, but not to the extreme like other countries.

ReplyDeleteI enjoy many of the rights throughout the constitution. But, I would have to say that my favorite right is freedom of speech, in amendment one. Freedom of speech allows everyone to express their own opinions, with out getting scolding. Although, even today, some people still get in trouble for some of the things they say. Another right I like from the constitution would be the right of religion. All around America and other countries, you see a major mixture of different cultures with their religions. I think this is a great law because every one should beable to believe what they want, and not be constantly questioned about their beliefs.

The rights we enjoy thanks to the Constitution make our life easier as Americans. They are called the Bill of Rights, and are made up of 27 amendments.
ReplyDeleteWithout the Constitution our country would not allow basic rights we have come accustomed to today. Women would not be allowed to vote. African Americans and women would not be allowed to own land. Slavery would be allowed. In court the, right to remain innocent until proven guilty would be unacceptable. Of course, the first amendment, wouldn’t exist so citizens wouldn’t have the right to freedom of religion, speech, or press.
The Constitution was originally written to enhance the Articles of Confederation. The writers wanted to ensure that government wouldn’t get too big, but still protect its people from outside strike. It was designed to benefit the people, but not just for those who lived when it was written, but for those who lived after it was in print.
The final draft of the Constitution was written on Monday September 17, 1787 at the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia. As a citizen of the United States, I enjoy all of my rights. I think the right I enjoy moist of all would be my freedom of speech and religion. If our country did not have a Constitution, it would probably not be like it is today. There would probably be a lot of murder and poverty.
